And now for something completely different

but altogether enjoyable. Hit up the Dubliner in STP for some conversation with a good friend and was delighted to hear some delightfully talented musicians.

Very good natured, good humored crowd (its an Irish Bar for Chrissakes) definitely enjoyed themselves and I relished in my Jameson rocks in the good company of a few fellas that know their way around a guitar, a half empty cup and a microphone.

Cody and Scott of Reverse Cowboy play every Thursday night at the Dubliner at 9:30 pm.

The Dubliner Pub has live music every night.

Hi there! My name is Josh and I play in a Irish influenced band called Hoist the Colors. We are from a place in southern California in a place known as the south bay which is right next to LAX. We have been around for about two years and have played up and down the California coast with bands such as the Young Dubliners. I stumbled upon your blog and am stoked to know that there are people across the U.S. that share the same love of Irish music as I do. How did you get into it? I am always curious to know because the only way I got into it was from my grandparents who are from Killbaconty which is a parish just outside of Galway. Our band is trying to book shows right now as well as gain new fans across the country. Please take a listen if you have the time. Any advice or criticism would be greatly appreciated. I would love to hear back! You can find us at http://www.myspace.com/hoistthecolorsmusic
    Thanks for your time. Cheers!
